Hugh found joy in programming, cryptography, computer hardware, dancing, teaching, science fiction, eating almost anything, kilts, space, children, photography, music, astronomy, talking about just about anything. He was a one man tough room, ever willing to question everything even his own fervently held beliefs from time-to-time.
From riling at and about the "Linux Children", protesting every element of security theater he encountered, to holding forth on any aspect of life, the universe, and everything (towel in hand) he lived life engaged in the moment.
